I’ve been attending this class almost every week for the last month and I’ve been seeing major improvements in my hamstring flexibility and strength. This class is beginner friendly, but she also offers some more advanced options for certain moves if you wanted to challenge yourself. It’s a small gym so they only ever have 6 or 7 people taking a class at a time (the two times I’ve been). All women. Everyone’s really nice and the instructors push you a healthy amount and are really good at paying attention to your form, correcting it if needed, and pushing you to the finish line. They are awesome with suggesting modifications, too, and encourage you to do what you’re comfortable doing. Will definitely keep going back!

It takes time to take off your coat/winter clothes, set up music if you wanna use the speaker, set up and sanitize (let’s say 3 minutes) plus a super minimal 5 minute warm up and maybe 2 minutes to stretch- that leaves you with 20 minutes left to actually workout (but you have to get rebundled to outside and clean up after yourself so really more like 17 minutes)

There are more challenging classes, of course, but not having done Step Aerobics since the 90s, I thought I'd ease in. Everyone was super inviting, it's not the kind of place you slink into the back of the class without people getting to know your name....I like that! I'll be back, definitely!
